About the Artist

Hi! My name is Sumeet, and I'm a self-taught henna artist in Cleveland, OH. I've always loved to draw, and started learning henna in 2007 by practicing on myself and others.

I started off working at festivals and campus events, and switched to weddings and events in 2011. I love being creative with bridal designs, and my favorite design is the one including a poem the groom wrote for the proposal. It sparked a trend of including elements meaningful to the couple, and I love the artistry in creating custom designs for each bride.
